Shaklee New Directors Conference – Congrats to our members who made it!

Your Freedom Project member at the Shaklee new directors conference - may 2012

Sheila looking like a super star!

The Shaklee new directors conference is such an amazing experience!

It’s very exciting to be able to once again share in the success of our recent members who attended this years convention.

One of our members, Sheila Lampkins uploaded a few photos to our Facebook Group, hard to tell she’s excited eh!

I know how she feels, I was in awe when I arrived in Las Vegas for my first convention as a new director.

Before they moved them back to San Francisco they were held in various locations, Vegas being one of them.

It’s pretty special to see someone who had never heard of Shaklee until they found their Freedom Project Program Guide, go from not having a clue how to build the business, to qualifying for such a special event using nothing but our system.

A bit like seeing your kids win their first medal!

The question you might be wondering is,
how did they do it?

Shaklee to open in Indonesia – Should you consider expanding there when they open?

Shaklee will be launching into Indonesia this year and they’ve planned their soft launch for June and expected to be in full operations by September.

This is great news because the bigger Shaklee becomes, the more opportunities we all have for growth and expansion.

Another important thing is that it fuels Shaklee’s ability to invest in creating better products and offer even greater incentives for doing well.

Recently Bill Minich who is one of our members, and a long time Shaklee business builder, sent me a message through Facebook asking my thoughts on the opportunity to expand into Indonesia using the Freedom Project.

I felt this was a question many people may have, and one that I wanted to share with you.

Shaklee University and how it fits with our system

Shaklee University Shaklee University offers some well laid out in-depth training and this has caused some people to wonder, how the Freedom Project system fits into this, and if they even need the training we offer or the system at all for that matter.

It’s a great question and I felt that it was worth discussing.

Shaklee University is actually where we recommend people go following the training modules that we offer in our step by step training, called Freedom Project 101 and 202.

How to pick the right online prospecting system for Shaklee Distributors

There are quite a few online prospecting systems for Shaklee Distributors in the market place now. So the question you may have is:

Why should I choose Your Freedom Project as my prospecting system of choice?

That’s an important question to ask, because the system you use, will be the place that you’ll be sending your new and existing builders.

You want to give a lot of thought to a system because once you ingrain your team into the new process it can be disruptive to move to another system.

If you jump around, some of your team will quit, some will get upset and some will be confused if you keep changing systems.

It will also teach them that it’s ok to jump around at the newest thing and you could find yourself with a fragmented group who are all doing different things.

That happened to us, and it’s hard for you to lead that.

Here are 10 key things you want to ask:

6 reasons why a Shaklee Distributor wants a Facebook Fan Page

Sample of Freedom Tools Fan Page

I am what you might call a late adopter of technology.

I bought our iPod years after they came out, I was still using my old film camera after digital was mainstream and I didn’t have a clue how to send emails for a few years after it was normal to have one.

You could even call me a bit of a foot dragger when it comes to getting on the latest trends and the same applied to my approach to Social Media.

I was very hesitant to get on Facebook in any way other than having a personal profile for quite awhile.

I just had a hard time seeing it being more than a ‘techno water cooler, mainly to be used for keeping in touch with friends and other things that could easily just become a big distraction.
